So this is me:

I have many wonderful adventures to come, but I think I would like to start with where I came from. I was brought up in the backwoods of Tennessee in a town with more cows than people and where not too many people venture very far from home. I wanted to. I wanted to travel the world. I didn’t grow up with a whole lot, but we always seemed to make do. My brothers and I all received full scholarships to college and made it out of our small town. In college, I was able to travel for a month in Ecuador taking a tropical Botany course. The day after I graduated college I was in Ireland, where I backpacked solo for a month, then visited London, Rome, and Barcelona. I have lived out of my car while visiting most of the National Parks and National Forests in the US. Most recently, I finished a solo thru hike of the Appalachian Trail Southbound. I have always called the mountains of Tennessee home, but that has never stopped me from exploring the world.

These are just a few of the trips I have sent myself on, and I should have time to go into more detail about them as time progresses. My next adventure awaits, though, as I will be leaving November 29th to Backpack Southeast Asia for 5 months.

I will semi-regularly blogging about my journey, my life, how I afford this lifestyle, my vegi diet, my gear, and how I found my inner happy. My Youtube contains daily videos of my Appalachian Trail thru hike as well as gear reviews. My Instagram contains radom life updates as well as a couple of pretty pictures I took. Links to both can be found at the top of the page. Hope you will follow along with what is to come!
